Trainee Pro Am Weekend Golf Trip 9th – 11th March 2024
Dear Members, Juniors and Parents of Juniors,
We would like to extend an opportunity to come away for a relaxing weekend in Oberon.
“THE OBERON EXPERIENCE”. Oberon is a picturesque Country town situated only 2.5 hours from Sydney over the Blue Mountains. The course is famous for spectacular views of the alpine lake Oberon, its small sloping greens, tight fairways and no bunkers. At over 1000m in altitude, it can even receive a light dusting of snow during the winter months. It is one of Kurt’s (our head Pro) favourite golf courses. ITINERARY:
Saturday 9th March 2024 – Social Golf
- 2.30 pm – Arrive by own transport at Oberon. Accommodation Titania Motel (details below)
- or 3.00 pm – Meet at Oberon Golf Club, 107 Ross St, Oberon NSW 2787. 9 holes Individual Stableford
- 5.30 pm – Team Dinner ‘Thai Restaurant’ at Oberon Golf Club.
Sunday 10th March 2024 – Social Golf
- 9.00 am – 18 holes Ambrose.
- 4.00 pm – Farm visit to ‘Langley Heights’ working farm (optional).
- 6.00 pm – Dinner. Meet at Oberon RSL.
Monday 11th March 2024 – PGA Trainee ProAm
- 9.00 am – 18 Hole Pro-Am. Shotgun start. (Includes playing with an Associate PGA member, lunch and prizes.)
- 1.00-2.30 pm – Lunch
- 2.30 pm – Pro-Am Presentation
- 3.30 pm – Depart Oberon Golf Club and travel back to Sydney.
GOLF CARTS:
Golf carts are available for hire on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If unable to get a cart I urge you to prepare for the event by going for some
long walks as Oberon is a challenging course to walk, trust me on this one. To book a cart phone Oberon GC prior on (02) 6336 0262

2 Nights. The Titania Motel – 13 Tarana Cres, Oberon NSW 2787. Group accommodation has been arranged on a shared basis.

Travel accessories, Golf clubs, golf clothes (Note: Oberon can be very cold in summer so be prepared).
COST:
Junior Golfers $222.50 (includes: 1 x 9 holes, 2 x 18 holes, 2 nights accom, farm visit, lunch and prizes on Monday)
Adult Golfers – $247.50 (includes: 1 x 9 holes, 2 x 18 holes, 2 nights accom, lunch and prizes on Monday)
Non-Golfers – $160 (includes: 2 nights accom, lunch on Monday)
